This weekend, I had the pleasure of leading our group from Bow Lane on a fun trip to Assam Farms in Tecumseh, Michigan. It turned out to be a fantastic day, packed with laughs and some great memories with our friends and staff. Jason, one of our staff members, was there too, helping out and making sure everyone had a good time.
As soon as we arrived at the farm, the real fun started. Everyone got a kick out of feeding the animals. Jeremy even got a big, sloppy lick from a cow, which had us all cracking up. The chickens seemed to love following Matthew around as we walked through the fields, adding to the fun of our farm adventure.
The goats were a hit too. We fed them and hung out with them for a while, and Jeremy made everyone laugh by asking a donkey, “Where’s Shrek?” It was just one of those perfect, light-hearted moments you hope for on a day out like this.
The folks at the farm were super friendly and made us feel right at home. They helped make our visit smooth and enjoyable.
We wrapped up our visit with a picnic lunch that we brought along. Sitting together in the open fields, enjoying our food and chatting, was the perfect end to our outing.
Overall, our trip to Assam Farms was a blast. It was a great chance for all of us from Bow Lane to spend some quality time together, enjoy nature, and just have a good time. We’re all looking forward to our next group outing!
